From ancient Egypt, the imagery of the Nile Delta has transmitted African motifs and alchemical models of change and transformation across 5000 years to emerge in generative modern dreams. They address our common human experiences of dying and renewal in Love and Betrayals, Couplehood, Sibling Rivalries, and Family Dynamics. The oldest recorded internal dialogue, of a world-weary man with his ba soul in turmoil, is echoed today. The Egyptians imagined weighing one’s heart with a feather. Jung entered psyche as the reflective space for personal balance, as dreams seek emotional equilibrium through the psychological demands and dramas of lived life in any age.
