La Vouivre

Culture and Jungian Thought

La Vouivre, originally Cahiers Romands de Psychologie Analytique then Cahiers de Psychologie Analytique, finally subtitled Culture et Pensée jungienne, was born spontaneously about ten years ago from the biannual meeting of Jungian analysts from French-speaking Switzerland, analysts who are members of the Swiss Society of Analytical Psychology (an association affiliated with the IAAP, International Society of Analytical Psychology) and/or graduates or candidates for the diploma of the Jung Institute in Zurich. This editorial project, independent of any professional association or institute, intended to give an original echo to the work of the Swiss psychoanalyst and psychiatrist Carl Gustav Jung (1875-1961), founder of analytical psychology, so named to distinguish it from psychoanalysis inspired by Sigmund Freud.
