For over 40 years, the journal has been concerned with the deepening and further development of analytical psychology according to C. G. Jung. It publishes articles on practical-clinical and theoretical topics in the psychotherapeutic and psychoanalytic treatment of adults, children and adolescents. The journal sees itself as an international forum for the various currents within analytical psychology. Its aim is to promote dialogue with the other traditions of the psychoanalytic community. Articles on contemporary history, culture, religion and society are taken into account, as are studies from psychotherapy research and related sciences. Reviews of depth psychology and psychoanalytic literature as well as conference and event information are published regularly.
